Two modes

Album has two simple modes that change what the curved wall shows.

RECOMMENDS

• Thumbs Up what matters.
• Thumbs Down / Hide what doesn’t.
• Adapts in real time: Starts surfacing conceptually related memories—without turning your life into a search query.
• Gets more coherent over time: The system learns what you mean by “similar.”

MEMORIES

• Walk time: Focuses on adjacent moments from the same day / trip / period so the story reassembles naturally.
• Not a year filter: It’s “Take me back to that week,” not “Show me everything from 2022.”

How it works

Album uses a physics‑backed data visualization as the scaffold. You aren’t just reordering a list—your library becomes a dynamic system where state persists and changes over time.

Key features

• Curved spatial wall: Explore a large slice of your library at once—step closer for detail, step back to see patterns.
• Pop out anything: Tap an item to bring it forward, pop it out as a window, and arrange it spatially.
• Constellations: Build “constellations” of moments you want to keep together.
• Persistent Hide: If you don’t want to see something again, you won’t.
• Scenes: Save a Scene of popped‑out items and reload it later to revisit a chapter exactly as you left it.
• Spatial‑first montage editor: Lay windows left → right in space (the layout is the timeline), then export a cinematic montage—no traditional timeline required.
• File view: A straightforward camera‑roll tile browser when you just want to grab something fast.

How to use Gravitas Album

1. Choose what you want to explore: Select your dataset (e.g. All Photos, a time slice, or an album selection).
2. Start in MEMORIES to “walk time”: Use MEMORIES mode for chronological adjacency—ideal for rediscovering forgotten chapters and context.
3. Switch to RECOMMENDS for discovery: Like what resonates, hide what doesn’t, and watch the system sharpen and match your intent.
4. Pop out anything meaningful: Build a spatial scene of related moments and save it so you can return later.
5. Export a montage: Arrange popped‑out windows left‑to‑right, hit Export, and share a cinematic recap without touching a timeline.
